VTS Basics: Introducing the Lesson

VTS Basics
Introducing the Lesson

When introducing VTS for the first time, it is important to orient students. This might be a new experience for them. One suggestion for doing this is to tell students the name of the curriculum and ask them what they think it means.

Briefly explain the process (three images will be reviewed) and the ground rules. Make sure they understand that they will be looking at art and will be encouraged to think, to contribute ideas and observations, to listen, and to build understandings together.
